This resource includes lessons and activities on making inferences. Students will first learn about the inferencing equation and then practice making inferences by looking at photos and reading dialogue. After students have successfully shown that they can combine evidence and background knowledge to make inferences, they will move onto an Investigate the Teacher Activity. There task will be to observe their teacher and their classroom, record the evidence, analyze each piece of evidence, and finally, summarize their inferences in the teacher bio section.
This lesson is great for distant learning, in person learning, hybrid learning, and even in an asynchronous learning setting. This resource can be used by students on Google Drive or Google Classroom.
