Welcome to a New School Year Interactive Google Slides Writing Choice board is an excellent way to have your students practice writing with detail while sharing about how they are feelings towards this new school year. In this activity, students will be given a virtual choice board containing 6 writing prompts they can choose from. The writing prompts are all centered around reflecting on the upcoming school year, but are editable and can be changed to whatever you need. This choice board activity can be used for virtual learning, asynchronous learning, or in-person learning. The presentation can be shared with students and when in present mode, is interactive. A link on each slide will direct students to a slide in the presentation where they will record their written response when the presentation is in edit mode. You can require students to pick one writing prompt or require them to do all six by duplicating the last slide! The clickable choice feature adds an element that is engaging for students.
